Bruce Peninsula/Manitoulin Island cycling ride
MICA (Manitoulin Island Cycling Advocates) has posted information on their 2nd Annual Bruce-Manitoulin, Manitoulin-Bruce Passage ride in Partnership with the M.S. Chi-Cheemaun Ferry.
Dates: On the Bruce Peninsula June 2 2012, on Manitoulin June 3 2012
“This Annual celebration will raise awareness of our new safe northern cycling corridor and the beauty of Manitoulin and the Bruce for cyclists to discoverer. It shall inspire Ontarian and International visitors to the possibility of planning and experiencing active living holidays in Ontario’s North. We offer a great option for low carbon footprint holidays. Our meadows are still covered in wild flowers. Butterflies find the food they need. Dragonflies and frogs live a happy life around here. Orchids, wild Berries, Sandhill-cranes and so much more natural life surrounds us in a sustainable way.
Let’s celebrate, treasure and enjoy our new, quiet, and safe cycling north corridor together; with our kids, our schools, our friends and family, our guests and visitors.”
