SUMMARY:First ride of the year!
DESCRIPTION:Come and discover some great neighbourhood routes and ride with
  experienced riders who can guide you on how to navigate our roads and cyc
 ling infrastructure!\n\nThis week\, we’ll be doing a short ride around N
 ew Sudbury.  This is a 13 km ride on residential streets\, and trails.\n\

 ur Facebook page\, on Instagram\, and our website.\n\nThe ride starts at 6
 :00 pm. Please be at the start by 5:45 so we can get everyone registered b
 efore the start of the ride.\n\nWe will cancel rides in inclement weather\
 , so please check our website or social media prior to heading out to the 
 ride for any changes to the ride. We’ll post any cancellations by 5 pm t
 he day of the ride.\n\nBring water and make sure your bike is in good shap
 e eg. air in tires\, brakes in working order.\n\n\n\nDetails about all of 
 our rides\nJoin us for some fun rides in 2023! Our Thursday evening Commun
 ity Rides run until mid September\, after which it gets dark too early to 
 ride. Rides will be offered in a variety of locations across Greater Sudbu
 ry. We’ll be travelling on roads and hard packed trails\, so rides will 
 be suitable for all styles of bicycles\, and for most riders except for th
 ose who are just learning to ride.\n\nDetails\, including the route for th
 e ride\, will go up on our website and on our social media a few days befo
 re the scheduled ride. Any cancellations due to weather or other unforesee
 n circumstances will also be announced the day of the ride on our website\
 , Facebook and Instagram. We typically only cancel if there is the risk of
  thunder\, extreme heat\, or poor conditions on the roads or trails.\n\nCh
 ildren are welcome on our rides\, but parents are responsible for determin
 ing if their child can complete the ride and for ensuring their safety.\n\
 nWe will always ensure that the group stays together – no rider will be 
 left behind! Every ride will include a pre-ride safety talk and some tips 
 on how to navigate the route. Riders will need to sign an attendance/waive
 r form\, and all riders under 18 must wear a helmet.\n\nBefore each ride\,
  please ensure that your bike is road-worthy. We’ll have a bicycle pump 
 available prior to each ride\, but we won’t be doing bike repairs or adj
 ustments. We encourage all riders to wear helmets. And don’t forget to b
 ring some water and snacks!
