DESCRIPTION:Course taught by a certified CAN-BIKE instructor and run throug

 participants\n\nThis course teaches children to learn to bike on a two-whe
 eled bike (without training wheels). For the children's course\, a caregiv
 er must accompany the child to support the child. The caregiver must be ab
 le to walk/run along with the child rider. The course is taught on grass.\
 n\nRequirements: A bicycle in good working condition\, an approved helmet 
 (CSA\, Snell\, or ASTM)\, and bell/horn are required. Ensure bicycle is th
 e proper size for your child's height. Bicycle seat must be must be low en
 ough so that both feet can touch the ground while sitting on the seat and 
 training wheels must be removed. If the bicycle is too large you will not 
 be able to take the course. Shoes must be closed toe.\n\nSkills taught: ba
 lance\, pedal\, start\, stop\, and steering.\nKnowledge gained: correct he
 lmet use\, checking the bike before a ride (ABC Quick Check)\, clothing an
 d carrying items\, bike safety and security.\n\nAges: 5 yrs +\n\nNote: Whi
 le it is likely that the children will be able to ride their bike by the e
 nd of the class\, caregivers will leave knowing an easy technique to conti
