DESCRIPTION:\n\nRide the Valley on Saturday\, September 9 at Valley East Da
 ys!\n\nA full day of riding in the Valley area with 3 rides starting at 10
  am\, noon\, and 2 pm. Do one\, or two or all three! We've done these ride
 s before on our Thursday evening rides and they were designed by our rider
  leader Phil who lives in the Valley and knows all of the great spots to t
 our. But Phil might just throw in a few little tweaks this year.\n\nWe're 
 starting from the festival grounds at the Hanmer Shopping Center. Meet at 
 the corner of Elmview and St. Anthony and look for the Bike Sudbury flag. 
 Our ride leaders will be there starting at 9:30 am to set up and get the w
 aivers signed. We'll have a bike pump too but can't do any bike repairs\, 
 so make sure your bike is road ready.\nWe'll have some water and snacks\, 
 but suggest you also bring your own.\n\nRIDE #1 - 10 am\nA 30.7 k ride to 
 Capreol and back - all road riding except we'll ride the new trail along t
 he waterfront that is really worth seeing. Tour the historical downtown\, 
 ride by the Capreol Railroad Museum and the BNCC cricket ground - the only
  official cricket field in the city.\n\nRIDE #2 - 12 noon\nA 23.6 km ride 
 that tours Val Thérèse and Val Caron\, and then the rural areas includin
 g some farmland to the west of the Valley along Martin Road. All road ridi
 ng.\n\nRIDE #3 - 2 pm\nA 24.5 km ride that tours through Hanmer\, Val Caro
 n and Val Thérèse with a mix of urban and rural views. All road riding. 
 And a stop at beautiful Kalmo Beach on Whitson Lake - bring your swim suit
  for a quick swim!\n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n
