On October 14, the SCU and Rainbow Routes Association invite you to come experience Greater Sudbury’s section of the new provincial Lake Huron North Channel Waterfront Trail, a northern addition to the Great Lakes Waterfront Trail (GLWT), and to the Trans Canada Trail
Our event is one of a number of events across the province funded by Ontario 150 Celebrate by Bike, and showcases the Sudbury portion of the Trans-Canada-Trail and our very own Junction Creek Waterway Park Trail.
This event is free, open to all ages and abilities and offers 3 different cycling routes followed by a free BBQ Celebration at Bell Park.
You can ride:
A 60 km ride from Nairn Centre to Bell Park.
A 26 km ride from Simon Lake Park to Bell Park.
A 6 km family friendly ride from the Kelly Lake Rd. to Bell Park.
Go here for a preview of the routes. Note that the starting points for each ride is in purple.
