Nobody Does It Alone Bike Ride
Mike Dupuis is doing a "tandem" ride around Georgian Bay to raise awareness about cancer. On Monday, August 22, the SCU will be joining him and his cycling partner Otto Pilot for an evening ride.
Otto Pilot is a ghost rider, representing all the folks who are unable to participate due to the effects of cancer.
We will be travelling the same route that is used for the annual Share the Road ride, starting at 6 pm. Participants are asked to arrive by 5:45 to sign a waiver and for a quick safety briefing. Note that all cyclists under the age of 18 must wear a helmet.
The route: Ramsey Lake Road to University Road to the trail leading to Loach's Road, to Algonquin Road, to Countryside Road, to the tunnel trail, to Long Lake Road, to Paris Street.
