A reminder that the 2013 Bike Fest is happening from 10 am to 6 pm on June 2nd, 2013 at the Lake Laurentian Conservation area. The SCU will be there to help out with a number of activities – if you are interested in volunteering to help, please contact us via a comment on this post, or via our facebook page.

A number of workshops are scheduled, including: flat repair workshops, basic bike repair workshops, advanced bike safety workshops, bike fitting information sessions, and basic bike adjustments workshops.

Activities include a group road ride, a family group ride, a leisure ride, and mountain bike group rides.

Things happening all day include bike demos from Kona and Opus, a bike exchange collection, music, a BBQ, water/electrolyte drinks and energy bars, and bike valet parking. See the poster and schedule below. You can click on the images to view a larger image.
