Just a reminder that the next open house for the Official Plan will be held at Tom Davies square this coming Wednesday, June 27, 2012, starting at 4:00 p.m.. One of our SCU members, Debra Humbert, forwarded an email from the Laurentian Nordic Ski Club about the proposed University Access Road and its impact to the Laurentian trails. This is one of many issues that is being addressed by the Official Plan review. A number of us will be there to listen and provide impact. Hope to see you all there!

The City of Greater Sudbury has been hosting a series of open houses to harness residents’ views on the topic of growth and development.  Laurentian Nordic Ski Club members are encouraged to attend in order to understand how the university access road will negatively impact the ski trails.

The next two open houses are from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m on the following dates:
Wednesday June 27 Tom Davies Square Room C11
Wednesday July 4 Dr Edgar Leclair Community Centre/Arena
