Second Public Input Session for Elgin Greenway Project
The City of Greater Sudbury has announced the second public input session for the Elgin Greenway Project, which will be held Thursday, May 9, 2013, from 6 – 9 pm in the foyer at Tom Davies Square. This is an extremely important new infrastructure implementation for Sudbury, and may well serve as a template for further linear park development. Initial designs indicated the possibility of a separated bi-directional bike path within the park.
The SCU provided input to the first session – click here for that response: Elgin Greenway Response.
If you want to see firsthand what is being proposed for the City’s portion of the Elgin Greenway, which stretches from Larch St. to the Nelson St. bridge, come out and join us. Make your voice heard! We will be there, and will gather input from all of the members who attend in order to prepare for our second input.
