The SCU has sent a letter of support to the Manitoulin Island Cycling Advocates (MICA), who are one of the leaders in developing a cycling route that circles around Georgian Bay. The route goes from Sault Ste. Marie to Sudbury, down to Owen Sound, back up to Manitoulin Island, then back up to the Sault. Linkages are available to the Toronto and other markets via the Bike Train and ParkBus public transportation options. You’ll hear more about this initiative as it gets developed.
