Lake Huron North Channel Bike Route: Stakeholder Input Session
Info sent from Emily Trottier, Business Development Officer, Greater Sudbury Development Corporation
As a result of the Northern Ontario Bike Summit in 2011, an outline for a proposed bike route along the Lake Huron North Channel between the Cities of Sault Ste. Marie and Greater Sudbury has been developed. A cycling route connecting these cities and the communities between them can highlight key destinations and attractions, and provide economic, tourism, health and environmental benefits for residents and visitors alike.
We are looking for your input in moving ahead with the study to develop this route. A stakeholder input session will be held on Thursday, June 21st at 7:00pm, to be hosted at the School of Architecture office at 111 Larch Street. Parking will be available free-of-charge after 6:00pm at the Tom Davies Square underground lot across from Memorial Park (or better yet, bike if you can!) Feel free to share this information with the key members of your organization.
Please RSVP by e-mailing your attendance to emily.trottier@sudbury.ca by Wednesday, June 20th.
